Heaton Smith and client create best prospects list for values-based legacy planning process.
Heaton Smith reviews client’s gift acceptance policies.
VPs, MGOs and PGOs invite donors to a confidential introductory meeting.

2. Donor Discovery
Heaton Smith consultant meets with individual donors and details planning process.
Donors receive planning packet and complete one of three questionnaires.

3. Donor Clarity
Heaton Smith writes a Family Financial Philosophy which details donor’s legacy objectives
based on completed questionnaires.
Donors provide existing documents and asset information to Heaton Smith.
Heaton Smith provides detailed recommendations which include spreadsheet and narrative.

4. Donor Decisions
Donor and Heaton Smith meet with estate planning attorney and other advisors.
Donors disclose revocable and irrevocable gifts at their discretion.
