Elisa’s experience includes Director of Financial Planning with Haines, Isenbarger & Skiba, LLC (Fort Wayne, Indiana), Director of Planned Giving for the Diocese of Fort Wayne-South Bend. She formerly served as Vice President and Director of Financial Planning with STAR Wealth Management.
Ms. Smith has over twenty two years of experience in the areas of tax compliance, estate, charitable and financial planning. She has consulted with various nonprofit organizations and donors on gift planning.
Elisa has spoken on topics including fiduciary income taxes, estate planning, and planned giving for organizations such as the National Conference on Planned Giving, Lorman, and the Planned Giving Counsel of Northeast Indiana.
Ms. Smith holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration and accounting from Indiana University-Purdue University.
Committed to community leadership, Ms. Smith is a member of the Indiana CPA Society, Planned Giving Council of Northeast Indiana, and past president of the Fort Wayne Estate Planning Council. On a national level, she is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Partnership for Philanthropic Planning (formally the National Committee on Planned Giving). Ms. Smith also serves on the board of the Catholic Community Foundation of Northeast Indiana. |
